We wouldn't be able to fairly give a trophy just because it's Isaac, of course, but we did really want him to win a great prize...because he's Isaac, of course. So, it was awesome to have the third judge rave about how creative, original, and actually really good his was. Matt's was honestly the best. We were just as surprised that he won first place and not weirdness cup again. (Last year was bacon-bean-brownies, I'm 99% sure. Judge memory.)

What got me about your post, though, was I was watching you and Isaac, too. Because, although I realized he was getting an award, I did not realize it would be one of the last ones called. I could feel the concern as he waited and waited. I can only imagine when Henry is old enough to wait for a prize...

Nice post.karla.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06908098069335960116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2268851333934441968.post-83256401648375406162012-02-11T18:54:34.062-05:002012-02-11T18:54:34.062-05:00Congrats to Isaac! I am simultaneously looking forward to and dreading the year when Ryan is eligible...mostly because, since he has 2 moms, we won't be able to share the baking part with him and will have to let one of our guy friends have all the fun! Maybe he can come bake with Isaac and Matt. :)Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01305607039728033104noreply@blogger.com
